Alan Sze brings over 30 years of investment banking, corporate strategy and principal investment experience across Greater China and Asia Pacific. He was most recently a Managing Director in APAC Investment Banking at BNP Paribas, following senior investment banking roles at Nomura and Zhongtai International, as well as earlier positions at HSBC and Lehman Brothers.

Alan has originated and led a wide range of landmark M&A and capital markets transactions, particularly across financial institutions, real estate, infrastructure and cross-border strategic investments. Selected transactions include major Hong Kong banking M&A, insurance and logistics transactions, bank capital raisings, and principal investments in leading financial institutions across China and Asia. He also formerly served as Chief of Staff to HSBC’s Greater China CEO and Secretary General of the Hong Kong Association of Banks.

Alan earned his undergraduate degree in Business Studies from Sunderland University and a master’s degree in Management Science and Operational Research from Warwick University, both in the United Kingdom. He is a former fellow member of ACCA.
