The Bascom Group has acquired Old River Place, a 249-unit single-family residential-style build-to-rent multifamily community in the Southwest submarket of Bakersfield, California for $56.6 million, or $227,444 per unit.Each unit at the property offers an attached two-car garage and dedicated outdoor space, with an attractive mix of two- and three-bedroom homes. The acquisition represents Bascom’s sixth close of 2024 and its twenty-sixth multifamily acquisition in California’s Central Valley.
