Bascom Arizona Ventures has acquired the Retreat at Speedway, a 304-unit apartment community in Tucson, Arizona for $53.4 million, or $175,658 per unit. The transaction marks the firm’s first new acquisition since February 2020.The Retreat at Speedway is situated in a highly desirable Tucson submarket and offers a mix of unit types suited for the area’s growing renter base. The acquisition continues Bascom Arizona Ventures’ strategy of targeting value-add opportunities in the Sunbelt, building upon its established track record in the Arizona market.
