The Bascom Group has sold The Square, a 112-unit multifamily community located at 12535 Brookshire Avenue in Downey, California for $37.6 million. Northmarq’s Investment Sales team facilitated the transaction, while Northmarq’s Debt + Equity team simultaneously arranged $25.55 million in Freddie Mac acquisition financing for the buyer, structured with a seven-year term and four years of interest-only payments. Bascom originally acquired the property in 2015 for $25.5 million.
