Bascom Group and Oaktree Capital Management have jointly acquired The Strand, a 408-unit Class A garden-style apartment community in the West Sacramento submarket of Sacramento, California for $126 million. The newly built, institutionally maintained community represents one of the most significant multifamily transactions in the Sacramento region in recent years. The joint venture continues the long-standing partnership between Bascom and Oaktree, which has collectively acquired 31 multifamily assets totaling over 10,000 units across major Western U.S. markets.
